Family Day 2025
The University of New Haven invites you to join us for Family Day 2025! Activities will be available around campus. This event is open to guests of all ages.
The cost of Family Day tickets is $35 per person. University of New Haven students and children under 10 years old must register for tickets, but they are free of cost.
Tickets will be on sale until Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 12 noon, or until sold out. Refund requests may be made up until 7 days before the event (Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025).
Your Family Day ticket will include access to events listed on the Family Day schedule, athletic games (excluding Football), continental breakfast, and lunch in one of our on campus dining facilities. Tickets for the Charger's home opening Football game will be available on Eventbrite for an additional cost.

Welcome Outdoor Movie Night & BBQ Welcome Charger families! Join us for an outdoor showing of Monster’s University on the big screen! We will have games, popcorn, and a BBQ dinner grilled by students in the Fire Science Club! Pre-registration is required for this event. Crunch Lab: Presented by General Mills Dining services, in collaboration with General Mills present "Crunch Lab." This event will allow students and their loved ones to create their own trail mix bags, starting with cereals as a base and incorporating enjoyable mix-in ingredients such as chocolate chips, pretzels, marshmallows, raisins, and other delightful ingredients. Surprises and complimentary swag items that will be given out, provided by General Mills. |

Test your knowledge on a variety of exciting topics and enjoy friendly competition with family and friends. Everyone is welcome to participate, so let’s see who’s the trivia champion! Games will be hosted in two rounds, at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. |

Old School vs New School: Music & Spades This will be an open event where families are able to have fun listening to original and reimagined versions of music. Following each pair of songs, we will have participants vote to see which era did the song better: the old school or the new school. Additionally, this will coincide with playing tabletop games, namely Spades. Light food & drink will also be provided during this time. |
