I am pleased to share the news that I received a second internship as a public health advocate with Child Care for Connecticut's Future. I believe an internship is the key that unlocks the door to your employment opportunities and secures your future for a lifetime.
There are some factors that need to be kept in mind when searching for an internship or job. Firstly, I learned that communication is the key. It is important to maintain good relationships and contacts with your colleagues, professors, dean of your college/school, and internship coordinator.
Secondly, learn to grab multiple opportunities. Do not stop by taking one or two opportunities – look more. If you find that an opportunity suits your skills and aspiration, go for it.
Moreover, make some extra effort to be successful. When planning for your next step, make sure to aim to keep your goals in mind. I am excited to pursue my goals as a future public health professional. It is also important to keep faith in yourself first and to have confidence.
I wish my classmates all good luck and all the best for your bright futures.
