The Music Intervention Jam is a benefit concert that will be held at 10Selden in Woodbridge, Conn., on May 4. The concert is planned by students in the University of New Haven’s Live Concert Planning & Promotion course, and all proceeds will go to the local New Haven nonprofit organization Musical Intervention.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and the concert will start at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for University of New Haven students (UNewHaven ID will be required at door), and $10 for access to YouTube livestream of the concert.
Connecticut-based musical artist Aim Vision will be headlining this concert, with additional performances from Tre Breezy, CARL!, and Micael The Son.
My classmates and I in our Live Concert Planning & Promotion class have created this concert to gain hands-on experience in planning and executing a live concert event. As part of the course, we have booked the artists and venue and have done our own branding and marketing for the event.
Musical Intervention is located on Temple Street in New Haven, Conn. It works with clinical and community-based organizations and the public to provide a platform for individuals and groups to write, record, and perform original music.
We hope many Chargers will come out on May 4 to show their support.
For more information, contact us at themusicinterventionjam@gmail.com. We hope to see you at the concert.
