This summer I got to participate in the New York Yankees’ Summer Sales program. It was a priceless opportunity and one I will never forget.
I had the opportunity to sell daily to real Yankee fans and to generate new business for one of the most successful organizations in professional sports. This role has taught me how not only to sell, but how to service real clients in the sports industry. I have also had the opportunity to network with some of the most successful salespeople in the sport industry.
The New York Yankees internship program gave me the opportunity to get sales training all throughout the summer. This experience will be one I speak incredibly highly of for the rest of my career.
The program was also a success, as this fall, I will return to the University of New Haven for my final semester before returning to the New York Yankees after graduation in a junior sales associate role.
