Kenny Franquiz ’24 is looking forward to beginning his career as a student at the University of New Haven in the fall. The Bellmore, New York native is passionate about baseball, and he is especially excited to be a student-athlete.
"Having the opportunity to play baseball at the University is something I have worked very hard to achieve," he said. "With the help of Coach Chris Celano and the entire staff, I really think the future is bright for the Chargers baseball team."
Franquiz will officially join Charger Nation in the fall as a member of the University’s Class of 2024. The University is active across the country and around the globe recruiting what promises to be another high-quality class. February 15 is the Early Action II deadline to apply to join the incoming class, and March 1 is the priority deadline for regular decision applicants.
