Dear Members of the Campus Community,
Hurricane Harvey has brought days of devastation to the city of Houston and its citizens. The relentless storm has left many stranded, without power, and short on life-sustaining resources. I know together, we extend our sympathies to those impacted.
In the wake of this natural disaster, I have reached out to several of our Texas alumni, asking what we, as a University community, can do to help. Their suggestion was to send aid through donations to the American Red Cross or any number of other relief organizations. A list of options for your consideration is included on this page.
The effects of Hurricane Harvey will far outlast the storm, altering lives for the foreseeable future. I urge our community to do what we can to extend compassion and kindness to those in need. Please join me in supporting disaster relief for the people of Houston and all those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
With gratitude,
Steve Kaplan
President
