                                                            college athletics. The issue of amateurism and compensating college athletes has been
                                                            recently highlighted by Northwestern, a class-action lawsuit by former UCLA star Ed
                                                            O'Bannon over the use of player images for commercial use, and an antitrust lawsuit
                                                            against the NCAA that challenges the very notion of amateurism in college sports.
