About Shontel

Upon receiving my bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Albertus Magnus College in May of 2015, I developed a passion for Learning and Development in my studies. This allowed me to become a point person for training new hires in my professional positions for various institutions. I began my career in higher education in 2017 with Post University as an Admissions Counselor for the online accelerated degree program for undergraduate studies. During my years at Post, I took on a management role and was involved in several employee engagement and development initiatives. Also, within my years at Post, I obtained my Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, which I am proud to say I completed in May of 2020.

I’m ecstatic to continue helping scholars further their education within the University of New Haven community providing my expertise in higher education. As we grow together, I am eagerly looking forward to connecting with each of you through your academic journey!
