About Paul

Paul was born and raised in CT and currently lives in the New Haven area with his wife and three children that all attend public schools. He has been a member of the North Haven Fire Department since 2002 having obtained the rank of Fire Chief during 2015. He joined the faculty at the University of New Haven Fire Science Department in 2015 and was elevated to a Practitioner in Residence for the School of Health Sciences in 2022.

Paul serves as the Emergency Management Director for the Town of North Haven and maintains credentials as a CT Fire Marshal, Nationally Registered Paramedic and CT Emergency Medical Services Instructor. He remains an active member of the community having served in leadership positions with school PTA, coaching youth basketball and football and active with the Greater New Haven Boys and Girls Club.
