About Marissa
Marissa is the doctoral capstone coordinator and assistant clinical professor in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program at the University of New Haven. She has worked in pediatrics for over 7 years, and has 5 years of experience in neurological research. Marissa has been published and presented at national conferences. Her experience in various clinical settings allows her to bring a well-rounded, evidence-based perspective to OT education. Marissa earned her Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate from Quinnipiac University in 2021 and served as a part-time faculty member at Quinnipiac University from 2019-2025.
