About Jamie Lynn
Jamie is an Associate Professor of Interior Design in the Department of Art and Design. Prior to her role at the University of New Haven, she practiced professionally for five years in both the Virginia Beach, Virginia and Boulder, Colorado communities. Her experience ranges from corporate and government facility planning and healthcare design to sustainable design for residential and mixed-use commercial projects. Additionally, she served on the Board of Directors for the Little Theater of Virginia Beach as Set Design Director and donated time as a pro bono designer with the Progressive Alliance for Non-Violence, Boulder Women's Safehouse and the Home Builders Foundation of Metro Denver.
Jamie is committed to design as a means for social change. Her fundamental values are rooted in experiential learning, multi-disciplinary collaboration, research-based innovation and environmental conservancy.
