The Center for Learning Resources (CLR) is the main tutoring center on campus, located in the lower level of Marvin K. Peterson Library. CLR tutors are both peer and professional. They employ metacognitive strategies to help students gain awareness of how to apply optimal learning processes in the pursuit of becoming independent learners. Tutoring is complimentary with tuition.
The CLR is a past recipient of the "Tutoring Program of Excellence Award" from the Association of Tutoring Professionals. Though many tutors work in person, Zoom tutoring is also available throughout the day and on weekends for students who learn best in that mode.
